The Consultant, VAT Recovery is a highly skilled professional who provides expert guidance on value-added tax matters. They specialize in identifying capital leakage and ensuring the accuracy of our clients' account ledgers. We bring order to our clients' transaction streams and simplify ledger management. Our transaction analysis covers areas such as Tax and VAT, Duplicate payments, and Balance reconciliation with suppliers. The goal of Ryan's Recovery Audit is to identify and rectify any incorrect transactions that have entailed a cost for our clients. We work on various types of transactions, including national and international VAT, incorrect payments, and unused credit notes.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct VAT reviews and audits to identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions to enhance compliance and efficiency
- Advise clients on VAT compliance and guide VAT–related issues, ensuring adherence to applicable laws and regulations.
- Gather, analyze, and make recommendations based on customer data that improve the organization’s operating efficiencies and costs.
- Analyze and interpret complex VAT regulations and legislation, providing accurate and timely advice to clients
- Stay updated on the latest VAT developments, and changes in legislation and proactively communicate their impact to clients
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as finance, legal, and tax departments to ensure alignment and integrated VAT solutions.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor´s or master’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret complex VAT regulations and provide accurate advice.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have intermediate knowledge of Microsoft® Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet navigation and research. Solid knowledge of the tax engine
