NIKE, Inc. designs the future. At NIKE, Inc. designers chase their curiosities and build what’s next, shaping the culture and advancing human potential. The Design teams include artists, inventors and specialists, all with different focuses, including color and material experts, and apparel, footwear and graphic designers. Nike designers look to the future, aggressively pursuing materials, ideas and forms that further elevate the athlete experience, set the standard for modern style and reduce environmental impact.
As our Footwear Graphic Designer II, you will combine your experience, problem solving abilities, and creativity to bring to life the seasonal creative narratives through graphic design that is trend relevant to the consumer across performance and lifestyle footwear. You will create original graphic and/or textile designs that appropriately reflect Nike's design ethos. The designs you create will be industry leading, trend right and will consistently incorporate consumer/athlete insights through powerful storytelling, emotional connectivity and relevance.
You will proactively follow the execution of all product details, including providing the appropriate materials to designers, developers, account managers, and/or graphic separators for the creation of separations, embroidery, and trims. For textiles, you will produce textile repeats for production purposes. You will communicate and present design concepts; produce presentation materials in conjunction with design and activity teams that effectively communicates the concept behind the line for internal and external audiences.
This opportunity involves working with design management and cross-functional team members in design, development, and merchandising to ensure feasibility of designs by meeting cost/value requirements, merchandising needs, product creation deadlines, through the effective use of design tools.
We will ensure that individuals with disabilities are provided reasonable accommodation to participate in the job application or interview process, to perform essential job functions, and to receive other benefits and privileges of employment. Please contact us to request accommodation.
