Purpose

Support improvement initiatives in systems, processes and people within Materials and Business Effectiveness (M&BE) department to deliver value and meet regulatory, legal, ethical, and sustainability requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Understand M&BE operating model, processes, systems, how they deliver value, current Safety, Quality, Ethical requirements and support the team .  to comply these Safety, Quality and Ethical Regulations / Practices.

  • Support the M&BE team on improvements that strengthen the department’s Safety Quality, Sustainability and Ethical foundation.

  • Support M&BE management monitoring (e.g. Safety and Quality self-audits) to ensure that the systems and processes meet the current regulations and practice.

  • Single point of contact for M&BE on all Safety, Quality, and related inspections (e.g. licensing inspections by the local authorities like National Environment Agency, Singapore Civil Defense Force, Singapore Police Force, Central Narcotic Bureau, Singapore Customs, etc). 

  • Support the Safety, Quality, Data, and Continuous Improvement initiatives (e.g. Bowtie, Inspection Performance, Productivity Improvement, Data / Risk Performance, etc) and engage the M&BE team to be actively involved.

  • Support investigations and problem solving.  Apply the GPS, CIF and DMAIC thinking to identify the root cause, develop robust CAPA, deliver improvement to enhance the site's competitive advantage.

  • Seek external inputs (outside view) from Logistics Service Providers, Vendors, Pharma Logistics, Procurement, Local Authorities, Opinion Leaders, etc to benchmark and set targets for KPIs to drive CI.

  • Understand the risk management process and support the Risk Management Expert (RME) and Risk Management Lead (RML) to run the site RMCB and functional risk meetings.

  • Support data review, processing, analytics, and management to deliver value as well as comply with ethical, privacy, security, and integrity requirements.

  • Coordinate temperature mapping activities with respective warehouse owners and ensure temperature mapping is conducted against established protocols and schedules.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • Degree in any related discipline

  • Preferably 5 years of experience in warehousing/logistics/supply chain management from a large organization (for non-degree professional qualification)

  • Good knowledge of cGMP, GDP and Safety Standards

  • Good knowledge of GPS, CIF and DMAIC

  • Good knowledge of supply chain and logistics operations

  • Good knowledge of data and digital technology

  • Good knowledge of managing business risk

  • Good knowledge of Project Management

  • Effective communication and presentation skills

  • Working knowledge of Corporate ERP system

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point, etc) and other data / digital tools

  • Commercial knowledge

  • Financial Understanding

  • Trade Compliance

  • Licensing
