As a key member of our GSM Marketing Operations team, the Senior Marketing Operations Specialist will play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance and operational efficiency within our Global Marketing function. This role will require depth of experience in managing a PRC/MLR review process in medical devices or a similar category, coupled with an ability to lead/influence stakeholders and partners toward adopting new systems, tools and processes that will reinforce compliance while increasing efficiency.
What You'll Work On
Manage the end-to-end review and approval lifecycle of promotional materials, utilizing electronic review system (Veeva PromoMats)
Collaborate cross-functionally with Regulatory, Medical, Legal, Marketing, and Agencies
Ensure material submissions meet quality standards prior to circulation to Reviewers and provide proactive guidance where needed
PRC meeting management and facilitation: This includes but is not limited to agenda planning, calendar management, handling of expedite reviews, and capturing consensus outcomes during live discussion meetings
Support escalation process in partnership with Marketing teams
Ensure Agencies, Marketers, and Reviewers receive appropriate PRC/MLR process training and adhere to process guidelines and best practices
Involved in the planning and execution of product launches, new indications, and label updates in partnership with Marketing and Regulatory
Support material prioritization efforts in partnership with Marketing
Lead and partner with Ad Promo specialists that in MLR submission priority management, while collaborating with marketing teams and other stakeholders to ensure assets move quickly through the process; and track timely approval of promotional materials for efficient review
Identify and resolve issues to ensure reviews are efficiently completed throughout the stages of the approval process
Oversee and track electronic review cycles to meet approval timelines
Involved in project work supporting continuous improvement and innovation
Represent Abbott Diabetes Care as the global lead for divisional MLR processes, best practices, and digital solutions
Required Qualifications
Bachelors Degree or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
5+ years of relevant project management experience.
Extensive in-depth knowledge of project planning techniques and working knowledge of automated project planning tools required.
Proven ability to quickly earn the trust of sponsors and key stakeholders; mobilize and motivate teams; set direction and approach; resolve conflict; deliver difficult messages; execute with limited information and ambiguity.
Leadership and influencing skills
Sound business and technical acumen
Experience with stakeholder management
Ability to communicate at all levels with clarity and precision both written and verbally.
Strong presentation skills
Ability to remove barriers and enable teams to complete their objectives
Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience within healthcare Ad Promo MLR/PRC processes preferred
Prefer experience in sales operations, marketing operations, and compliance operations.
Experience with digital PRC/MLR solutions and modular content (e.g., Veeva PromoMats, Adobe AEM/Workfront, Veeva Vault, Veeva Claims Library)

The base pay for this position is
$95,500.00 – $190,900.00In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
