THE TEAM

Most of us had no previous experience working in music -- just a shared excitement about the space, a willingness to go to concerts / venues / festivals when needed as part of the job, and a desire to go to concerts / venues / festivals in our free time, too.

The Marketing Insights and Data Analytics Services team within the Marketing & Data Strategy organization works on projects across all divisions, to develop insights around Fans and Marketing programs. These insights are used to inspire new marketing programs and improve existing marketing efforts across Concerts, Ticketmaster, and Sponsorship business units. We are also responsible for quantifying the value of our marketing efforts through our test and learn program, incrementality testing and attribution thought leadership.

THE ROLE
The Senior CRM Analyst will perform analyses and deliver insights and recommendations to business leads and CRM strategists to inspire and execute fan-centric marketing programs that will contribute to fan satisfaction and business growth. This person will identify opportunities to better engage our fans and prospects through analyzing CRM campaign data and assisting to make customer interactions more meaningful, engaging and contextually appropriate across a broad spectrum of marketing channels including email, and SMS.

The Senior CRM Analyst will run analyses on large sets of data and will be comfortable in summarizing data from a variety of sources, aligning recommendations for opportunity areas and measuring return. This collaborative role will act as a data and analytics consultant to CRM strategists and business unit leads to not only answer questions but to uncover deeper learnings and insights by recommending innovative ways to look at data.

The ideal candidate is empathetic to consumers, detail-focused, and collaborative. They are focused on driving fan-centric insights and evangelizing the needs of consumers. This person will report to the VP of Analytics.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

  • Drive CRM and fan lifecycle strategies through analyses, testing and insights
  • Design, execute and analyze success of tests and control groups to understand incremental gain/loss for testing on promotions, marketing efforts, creative, and segmentation
  • Collaborate with strategists, business stakeholders and data scientists to develop fan segments, retention models, lifetime value models and lifecycle snapshots
  • Consult with marketing strategists, planners and business unit leads to advise on KPIs, tracking, analytics and reporting
  • Create analyses that tell a “story” focused on insights, not just data
  • Synthesize insights into clear, incisive insights and recommendations that drive business results
  • Pull marketing performance data from data warehouses and data lake and summarize into reporting platforms (e.g. Domo, Tableau), Excel or PowerPoint for broader consumption
  • Collect reporting/analysis requirements, working with the engineering team to ensure proper data flows, and partnering with CRM team to provide clear strategic recommendations to drive incremental results

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in Marketing, Business or similar field
  • 3+ years of work experience with CRM marketing tools and systems, with a on lifecycle and CRM marketing
  • Able to write and run complex SQL queries to pull data required across multiple tables
  • Expertise in MS Excel – lookups, pivot tables, dynamic charts and tables required
  • Experience with email and push/SMS marketing analytics
  • Experience with customer retention analyses
  • Experience developing CRM campaign measurement plans, implementing tracking, and delivering performance insights
  • Understanding of statistical methodologies and testing techniques (A/B, multivariate) and methodologies to advise with execution and provide insightful results
  • Strong verbal/written communication and data presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams

Desired:

  • Salesforce experience or Salesforce Administrator Certification preferred
  • Data analysis and reporting tools; experience with Domo is a plus
  • Experience working in Entertainment industry

The expected compensation for this position is:

$96,000.00 USD - $120,000.00 USD

** Pay is based on a number of factors including market location, qualifications, skills, and experience.
