ROLE SUMMARY:
This role reports directly to BU GM. The Established Portfolio Business Lead will be accountable for delivering the full Established Portfolio P&L in Pfizer China, leading established portfolio strategy, and fostering business innovation to successfully achieve business outcome including but no limited to revenue, market shar, productivity and IBT objectives, maximize business growth and optimizing business sustainability.
This role will work closely with and manage 3rd party/partners to achieve business outcomes, establishing strategic partnerships and ensuring robust alliance management and strategic execution in core therapeutic areas and overseeing deal implementations to enhance the competitive advantages of Pfizer's established portfolio. Develop and promote collaborative innovation projects to explore the brand value of Pfizer products and increase the accessibility of patients.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Accountable for delivering the full Established Portfolio P&L in Pfizer China;
- Develop portfolio and partner strategies for established products of Pfizer China to engage well-matched strategic partners with strong capability & cooperation willingness, and well-orchestrated cross-functional execution excellence;
- Establishing strategic partnerships with 3rd party/partners to foster business innovation;
- Build-up systematic performance review mechanism and dashboard tracking to achieve business goals( TTD/TTH/IBT) with well-defined 3M strategy;
- Achieve business target of established products through cooperating with qualified 3rd party/partners, governing their GTM model via effective collaboration /management process;
- Lead smooth transition and deal implementation for each CSO deal or cooperation program;
- Support managing and ensure the supply of established products via cooperating with global and local S&OP team, local DCM team;
- Cooperate with relevant function teams to build SOP of CSO/license-out model, covering internal evaluation/partner screening/deal negotiation and transition/deal execution /monitoring /termination at company level; build response plan for possible risk;
- Cooperate with Compliance/Legal/Audit team to build high standard monitoring model for collaboration with partners;
- Build strong network/relationship with potential external partners and stakeholders, help improve capability of partners;
- Build established portfolio function team with strong talents and define & develop capabilities of commercial excellence
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Pharmacy, or a related field, MBA is perfectible.
- Proven experience in portfolio management, strategic planning, and cross-functional team leadership.
- Able to interact, partner, and provide thought leadership for key stakeholders with comfort and ease.
- Strong business acumen, strong understanding of the China pharmaceutical industry and market dynamics.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, leadership, and strong interpersonal and influencing capabilities
- Ability to manage complex projects and drive them to successful completion.
- Knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Excellent oral and written communications capabilities and presentation and facilitation skills
