We are looking for a driven, curious, and empathetic product manager to join the core strategic program pushing the envelope of Okta’s market footprint by growing our integration ecosystem. As a Product Manager for OIO builders, this individual contributor will be responsible for teams building  integrations across the entirety of Okta’s integration footprint, including introducing new application integrations, building workflow connectors, and deep product integrations. Responsibilities

  • Connect with key internal teams and customers to distill down integration types and pain points into true requirements that deliver broad customer value
  • Develop roadmaps that make hard tradeoffs and prioritize the highest value work first
  • Build compelling hypotheses and find ways to validate assumptions at low cost
  • Collaborate with global cross-functional teams, including engineering, ISV program, tech partnerships,  and marketing, to ensure the successful launch and adoption of Okta integrations.
  • Work with an India-based development team to deliver valuable new integrations, features and product improvements to customers.
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify integration/connector needs, and use this information to inform innovation, product decisions and prioritization.
  • Define and communicate product requirements, including features, user experience, and technical specifications, to engineering teams.
  • Leverage product data to continually get smarter about how to improve our existing products, and work across the business to drive adoption and success
  • Track industry trends and think strategically to develop solutions that are differentiated from the competition
  • Be the subject matter expert for your product area and help enable your counterparts in the core product, Marketing, and tech partnerships teams.

Required:

  • 3-5+ years of Product Management experience in enterprise scale SaaS products or comparable relevant experience.
  • Experience building or product managing the integrations/connectors buildout for enterprise platform ecosystems/services.
  • Strong communication (presentation, verbal and written) and collaboration skills. You easily work with customers and colleagues across different functions and backgrounds.
  • Demonstrated business results from products, features or capabilities you have shipped.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. You can produce solid action plans from often incomplete, conflicting or ambiguous inputs.
  • Passion for Okta’s huge opportunity and growth potential, and general thirst for learning with an ability to go broad and deep across business and technical contexts.

Preferred:

  • Experience with creating requirements for developer tooling, API footprint, and/or adoption growth
  • Experience with defining the shape of connectors/integration points for enterprise platform services
  • Experience across the product management lifecycle for enterprise products or services, integration considerations surfaced in the user experience in particular
  • Familiarity with Identity and Access management protocols and products
  • BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent experience that allows you to rationalize and influence technical design decisions.
  • Advanced degree in technical or business field

Location Note

While the location for this role is flexible, the engineering team for this role is based out of India, whilst the collaborating teams, and other cross functional leads are US based, so you should be comfortable being available for meetings 9-11a Pacific time, three days a week.
