Responsibilities:

  • Design of systems, equipment and devices: Combining mechanical, electrical and electronic elements to design complex systems
  • Development and planning of components: Design of individual components for complex system and for product optimization
  • Installation, parameterization and error identification of software that controls machine and system-operated processes
  • Planning and optimization of hydraulic control systems
  • Close coordination with interacting departments such as System Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering and Documentation as well as Field Service
  • Working with PLC systems, trouble shooting on CPT applications
  • Supporting the commissioning of complex systems and prototypes in the factory and at customer sites worldwide

Expectations:

  • Higher education (mechanical/electrical/engineering systems studies)
  • Experience in new product development, including design, verification and validation min. 3 years
  • Knowledge of precision measurement and general engineering principles
  • Experience in implementing appropriate controls to direct, measure and adjust operations as required to meet business requirements for new product development
  • Commercial awareness
  • A leader and team player who recognizes the importance of his/her team and the broader business team
  • Excellent people management skills
  • Fluency in spoken and written English. German desirable
  • Knowledge of ERP, SolidWorks, EPLAN as well as MS Office
  • Hands-on experience in product design and development
  • Good understanding of the following product quality processes

  • Organized, good planning skills
  • Excellent communication, teamwork skills
  • Worldwide travel activities; Work location is the plant in Poland and for commissioning the customer locations worldwide
  • Driver license B
