A DAY IN THE LIFE:

The Talent Acquisition Manager will provide support to field operations positions by developing and implementing effective strategies to attract, hire, and retain employees at all levels.


Talent Acquisition – including, but not limited to:

  • Partner with Operations and Support Center leaders to ensure appropriate staffing levels throughout the year
  • Manage full cycle recruitment for store management openings from sourcing to on-boarding
  • Partner with the Hiring Managers to use a variety of strategic sourcing strategies for hourly openings to include job fairs, college career fairs, mall booths, etc.…
  • Manage full cycle recruitment for store management and hourly openings for New Store Openings
  • Strategize and identify best practice’s to efficiently and successfully manage vendors and agencies to source hourly and salaried talent
  • Manage to an agreed upon time-to-fill & cost to fill metric as set by Director of Talent Acquisition and VP, HR
  • Maintain both Internal and External Job Posting process; manage communication to hiring managers and employees on status of open positions
  • Partner with HR VP to attend trade or industry conferences to build employment brand & build talent base
  • Ensure OFCCP compliance in all hiring activities
  • Report out weekly on key staffing scorecard designed in conjunction with the Director of Talent Acquisition
  • Build an internal and external talent pipeline by partnering with the HRBP in regional level succession planning process
  • Participate in, contribute to and potentially lead various committees
  • Assist other team members as needed


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field or comparable work experience
  • A minimum of 5 years of full life cycle recruiting experience within a multi-unit restaurant, hospitality, or large retail environment
  • Ability to travel 20% (approx.. once a quarter)
  • Reside in the greater Dallas Fort-Worth, TX area or be able to relocate to Dallas, TX.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet recruitment goals and build talent pipelines in a high-growth, fast-paced environment
  • Intellectual curiosity that results in finding the better, simpler, and more effective ways to hire outstanding talent
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively interact with Executive Leadership and Senior Level Management
  • Experience using contemporary recruiting and sourcing tools such as job boards, social media, resume databases and search engines to identify active and passive candidates
  • Prior experience with applicant tracking systems
  • Experience using behavioral-based selection tools
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams) and Outlook
  • Exceptional organization and time-management skills with strong adherence to deadlines
  • Professional presence; exceptional written and verbal communication skills
