Employer Branding Intern: NYC-Spring 2025

Your New Role 

This internship will be located in the NYC area. The selected intern will be expected to join us in the office on a regular cadence based on the intern manager’s in office schedule. 

The Employer Branding team sits under the recruitment function of WBD, telling stories of incredible WBD employees around the globe. From #Unscripted video reels to podcasts to employee spotlights on @WBDLife and beyond, our original content paints an authentic but irresistible picture depicting what it’s like to work at the world’s premiere global entertainment company. 
 
Your Role Accountabilities 

  •  Collaborate with colleagues across functions to help develop impactful, creative campaigns that embolden the Warner Bros. Discovery brand and attract top, diverse talent 
  • Help us build an evergreen content library of employee stories and spotlights for the WBD LinkedIn and @WBDlife Instagram & Twitter 
  • Assist with production & promotion of our ''Empowered Women, Empower Women'' podcast 
  • Monitor new trends in employer branding and recruitment marketing, research the competitive landscape, and understand the evolving social landscape 
  • Assist with other projects and tasks as assigned 

Qualifications & Experience 

  •  Passion for storytelling: You understand the elements that go into creating cohesive and captivating stories that build brand reputation and can storyboard for compelling content 
  •  Knack for creativity: You understand what candidates want to see and are proactive when it comes to pitching ideas and supporting with projects 
  • Exceptional editorial skills: You can write both short- and long-form blog content and can deftly adapt your writing style to our brand voice 
  • Project management: You enjoy taking on new projects and can execute them from start to finish 
  • Relationship building: You are a great teammate who can effectively partner cross-functionally with various teams 
  • Technical prowess and digital savvy: You have experience with the usual tools like MS Office and can get up to speed on new platforms with ease. 
  • Familiarity with graphic design, video editing, Canva, Asana
  • Must be actively enrolled in an accredited college or university degree program for the full duration of the internship (proof of enrollment required) 
  • Must be a rising Junior or Senior Student (18 years or older) 
  • Must be in academic good standing (3.0 or above cumulative GPA) 
  • Warner Bros. Discovery will only consider candidates who are presently authorized to work for any employer in the United States and who will not require work visa sponsorship from Warner Bros. Discovery now or in the future in order to retain their authorization to work in the United States. Candidates currently on any student or exchange visa, including F-1 CPT, F-1 OPT, J-1, M-1, etc., will not be eligible for the internship program.

What to know before applying: 

  • The duration of the program is 12-weeks  
  • Program dates: 
  • Start Date: January 27th 
  • End Date: April 18th 
  • Interns will be expected to work 16-24 hours per week in a hybrid capacity
  • Our internships are paid opportunities with a competitive hourly wage. Credit is not required; however, we will provide the necessary documentation for school credit if desired. Relocation is not provided.   
  • Interviewing will take place from October through early December. A WBD team member will contact you if your experiences and interests match an open internship position. Due to the high volume of applications, we are unable to give individual status updates.

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation for roles in locations where legally required. Pay Rate: $19 per hour USD for undergrad interns
