What you will do: 

Sales Support Specialist will support Service and Install sales teams for the Fire Domain. Responsible for reviewing Terms and Conditions (“T’s & C’s) of project specific Contracts/Agreements. Assists with negotiating T’s & C’s. Secures all necessary approvals and ensures that standard company procedures are followed. Examine and evaluate purchase orders, and/or other legal documentation for new project and service work. Provide support to Sales Team. Interacts routinely with Sales Management team to analyze policies and procedures to support year over year growth. 

 

How you will do it: 

Aid our sales organization by performing administrative support with Prequalification and Bid package, Bonds, contract, and riders/amendments, and submitting contracts into ONIT when necessary 

Review contracts and establish contract category 

Provide appropriate rider to the customer for consideration 

Submit contracts into ONIT that require legal review 

Facilitate final internal signatures, etc. as necessary 

Complete subcontractor qualification and bid packages   

Request bid and performance & payment bonds, as well as bonds required for various projects Manage the COE/credit/penny hold list, follow up with sales staff as needed   

Ensure compliance with Sarbanes Oxley and audit guidelines   

Assist in obtaining and submitting customer's credit application   

Request Customer Master Changes into Case wise workflow. 

 Respond to OCIP/CCIP requests and enrollment 

Manage other required project documentation with internal office resources and Corporate Legal Department. 

 

What we look for: 

Required: 

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Project Coordinator or Contract Administrator in the construction industry, or experience providing support to a Sales Team preferred. 

Applicant should have knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the construction field or a sales environment.  

Effective writing skills, teamwork, legal compliance, understanding of contracts desired. 

High School Diploma or equivalent 

Must be customer service oriented 

Experience in extreme multi-tasking and prioritization a must 

Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

Must be detailed oriented and organized 

Working knowledge of computers, including Microsoft Office 

 

Preferred: 

Previous experience in accounts receivable or payable a plus 

Knowledge of ACE and/or Oracle systems a plus 

A university degree and 1 year suggested minimum experience, or 2-year degree and 6 years suggested minimum experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. 

HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $20hr-$25hr (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)  This position includes a competitive benefits package.
