This position is for a Senior Director, Engineering with extensive experience in Salesforce, cloud technologies, interoperability, and a strong background in federal environments. The role will lead and mentor engineering teams in developing and delivering high-quality, secure and scalable solutions that comply with federal standards. Leadership in this position will drive technical architecture decisions, ensure seamless integration across platforms, and adherence to industry requirements and promote innovation across products.
- Partner with CTO and other technical leaders to align on technical strategy, establish best practices, and ensure consistency across the Federal organization.
- Partner with Cybersecurity and CTO to develop and implement the software engineering strategy that aligns with the company's business goals and objectives, incorporating cybersecurity measures in line with Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) requirements.
- Lead and mentor software engineers, architects, and technical leads, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Drive the adoption of best practices, processes, and tools across the engineering teams to improve efficient and quality.
- Oversee the design and development of scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions leveraging Salesforce and AWS with seamless integration across multiple platforms.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance on architecture, design patterns, and best practices for cloud-based solutions.
- Ensure compliance with CMMC standards and other relevant federal regulations, integrating them into all phases of the software development lifecycle.
- Collaboratively works with product management, executive leadership, and business partners to deliver high quality, fit for purpose, solutions.
- Stay abreast of the latest technologies, industry trends, and best practices in software engineering, cloud computing, and interoperability.
- Drive innovation within the team, exploring new technologies and approaches to solve complex problems while ensuring compliance with CMMC and other regulatory requirements.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and development, encouraging team members to enhance their skills and expertise, particularly in areas related to cybersecurity, Agile methodologies, and ITSM practices.

- Develops and maintains strong, cooperative relationships with other IT services groups. Shares and establishes best practices experiences and opportunities throughout the organization.
- Applies Agile development practices in delivery of transformational programs as required.
