The Opportunity

You will lead and mentor a high-performing development team, driving the design, development, and implementation of scalable and efficient solutions within our Salesforce platform. You will play a pivotal role in aligning our Salesforce capabilities with corporate strategies and business requirements, collaborating closely with IT managers, architects, and business stakeholders. This position demands a strong blend of technical expertise, leadership, and a commitment to best practices, ensuring the Salesforce ecosystem supports our business objectives and enhances user experiences.

What You Will Do

• Manage and mentor a Salesforce development team, providing guidance, fostering best practices, and elevating overall team performance.

• Establish clear goals for the team, conduct regular meetings, and perform annual reviews to ensure alignment with corporate strategies and departmental objectives.

• Collaborate effectively with IT managers, architects, and business stakeholders to understand business requirements and design robust, scalable, and efficient solutions within the Salesforce platform.

• Lead the comprehensive design, development, and documentation of Salesforce solutions, ensuring high quality and adherence to specifications.

• Develop custom applications and integrations utilizing Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and other Salesforce technologies.

• Integrate Salesforce with other critical systems, ensuring data consistency, seamless user experiences, and efficient data flow.

• Conduct thorough code reviews, identifying areas for improvement, performance optimization, and adherence to coding standards.

• Collaborate with the DevOps team to manage deployments, including sandbox-to-production releases and robust version control practices.

• Ensure strict adherence to Salesforce best practices, security standards, and compliance requirements across all development activities.

• Provide expert support for the Salesforce platform, troubleshooting complex issues, identifying root causes, and implementing effective and timely solutions.

What You Will Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Minimum of five (5) years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.

• Strong proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Components.

• Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data modeling, and security best practices.

• Experience with Salesforce integrations, including REST/SOAP APIs and third-party tools.

• Knowledge of Salesforce DX, Git, and continuous integration methodologies.

• Excellent communication skills and a proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering complex Salesforce projects.

• Certified Salesforce Platform Developer I or II (preferred).

• Experience with MuleSoft is a plus
