Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Staff Engineer Technical Services.  This position is located in Roy, UT and supports the Strategic Deterrent System (SDS) Division.

 

What You’ll Get To Do: 

  • Creation, Development, Revision, and Maintenance of SDS standard training modules (in-person and virtual) to ensure standard processes and procedures across the Production Operations teams. 

  • Review and approve training modules and ensure compliance to released processes, procedures, and work instructions in accordance with Corporate and Division guidelines and proceduress

  • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts for development and delivery of Division Level and Program Specific trainings documentation

  • Maintain and ensure accuracy of training requirements for SDS Production Operations departments in partnership with Department Managers

  • Support program training development, revision, and maintenance as needed

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package. 

You’ll Bring These Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Science with a minimum of 12 years of experience in manufacturing, 10 Years with Masters; 8 Years with PhD.

  • Must be a US Citizen with ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance within a reasonable time frame as determined by business needs.

  • 1 year experience working in an Agile environment

  • 2 years' combined experience working in or with Manufacturing or Production Operations Organization

  • 2 years of experience developing, evaluating, or operating to standard processes and training utilized by multiple teams.

  • Travel may be required, no greater than 10%. 

 

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have: 

  • Ability to collaborate between disciplines for cross-discipline processes and training

  • Working knowledge and/or experience across engineering disciplines

  • Experience on ICBMs

  • Experience with integration and test of missiles

  • Familiarity with Agile engineering and Jira

Salary Range: $129,500.00 - $194,300.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
