Job Summary

The Product Technical Support Training Coordinator is responsible for the development, coordination, and facilitation of training for new hires and existing employees.

Essential Functions

  • Facilitate and assist with in-person and remote training for new and existing employees, including facilitation of the department’s new hire orientation process and other employee classroom training.
  • Develop and maintain training resources and communication in a centralized location (i.e., SharePoint) for the Product Technical Support Department.
  • Oversee the department’s training class enrollment and completion, class attendance, inventory of training materials.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive team culture, promoting collaboration, recognition, and professional development opportunities.
  • Partner with cross functional colleagues, new hires, and leaders to ensure there is a positive onboarding experience
  • Develop and coordinate ongoing employee training programs.
  • Enhance the Mentor training and recertification processes.
  • Maintain electronic training records for all Product Technical Support personnel according to company guidelines.
  • Ensure training materials remain current and updated.
  • Create and deliver reports that track training requirements, and effectiveness for management.
  • Identify training needs and recommend new training approaches and software, while leveraging current training products being utilized by ZOLL Cardiac Management Solutions (CMS) and other department trainers.
  • Analyze department data and reports to identify trends and drive continuous training improvement.
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with leaders and trainers throughout the organization and their departments.
  • Exhibit a strong customer focus to effectively collaborate with employees and managers from all departments.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for new or additional projects based on needs (new garment and product launches, process updates, system updates, etc.).


Required/Preferred Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent preferred
  • Experience working in an electronics/medical device environment or in a project/training coordination role and facilitating meetings and/or training sessions is a plus.
  • Experience with SharePoint and learning management systems is a plus.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Strong and engaging communication skills, which includes the ability to interact effectively at all levels within the organization (from manufacturing and assembly to corporate leaders) and work collaboratively with other departments.
  • Ability to adjust training approach to accommodate the learning styles of the audience.
  • Computer Applications: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, MS Teams, Outlook and audio-visual equipment.
  • Ability to edit and create Word and PDF documents containing graphics, manage spreadsheets, prepare presentations, send and receive e-mail, obtain information from the internet, etc.
  • Ability to prioritize assignments while working on various projects simultaneously. Ability to work in a fast paced, multi-task environment is required.
  • Ability to work in a remote environment as needed.
  • Organized and detail oriented.
