JR54862 IT NETWORK ENGINEER

Responsibilities   

  • Participate in escalation oncall support for SSC supported sites​. 

  • Work on issues escalated by NOC team​. 

  • Work on cases escalated to vendors (Cisco, Arista etc)​ 

  • Ensure all incidents and requests are within SLA​. 

  • Participate in site ERT as oncall support​. 

  • Implement Network changes following change management process at the various SSC sites​. 

  • Work on operation improvement initiatives, such as escalation, monitoring improvement and incident count review and reduction​. 

  • Participate in daily L3 Passdown activity, review operational reports and address abnormalities. ​ 

  • Participate in worldwide collaboration for technical sharing and reference architecture alignment. 

  • Address issues, risks, and concerns from Site MFG Team​ 

  • Perform Capacity planning and Network health checks​. 

  • Analyze network incidents and system performance indices and suggest on improvements. 

  • Review SOE for the weekly Changes​. 

  • Participate in Mock ERT drills​. 

  • Planning on Hardware/Software upgrade strategy with Site Team​ 

  • Collaborate with I&O and GSO​ on developing SOE for upgrades, migrations and other major activities​. 

  • Communicate with site Change Management Team on the Risk assessment​. 

  • Perform POC for new technology​. 

  • Develop automation for productivity improvement and operational efficiency​. 

  • Budget planning for site, expansion, greenfield, or portfolio projects​ 

  • Support for greenfield sites startup and fab expansion​.
