Major Responsibilities:

·         To ensure that all kitchen equipment and building are effectively cleaned as specified by the cleaning schedules.

·         To ensure that airline equipment is cleaned and stored in a timely manner.

·         To clean, rinse and sanitize utensils and equipment and ensure proper dishwashing methods.

·         To ensure that manual cleaning is done according to specified standards.

·         To clean and sanitize all food contact surfaces.

·         To ensure that chemicals are appropriately handled.

·         To adhere to all safety standards.

·         To perform any other related duties as directed

Qualifications:

·         Knowledge of standard methods, practices, tools, and equipment of the janitorial service. Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety rules.

·         Knowledge of the proper use of chemicals, fertilizers, and pesticides.

·         Ability to follow instructions.

·         Ability to operate and use janitorial tools, equipment, and supplies such as floor buffers, vacuum cleaners, and cleaning compounds and solutions.

Physical Demands:

The job duties require an employee to bend, reach, stoop, stand and/or walk for extended periods.
