Inpatient Neurosciences Physician Assistant

The Neurosciences Department at New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital brings together a unique group of specialists and medical services to offer diagnosis and treatment of a broad range of neurological conditions, ranging from headaches to syncope to stroke to tumors. As an inpatient neuroscience PA at NYP Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, you will manage all aspects of care for patients on the neurology team, including consult management of complex in-house and ED patients, responding to and helping to manage stroke codes, and coordinating outpatient follow-up.

This is a full-time position covering dayshift only including holidays with need for rotating weekend coverage.  

Preferred Criteria

-Neurosurgical or neurology experience preferred but will consider strong new-graduate applicants.

Required Criteria

-Bachelors or Masters in Physician Assistant related studies

-NYS PA Licensure

-Current NCCPA Certification

-ACLS/BLS

-NYS Infection Control certification

-DEA and NYS Opioid Prescriber Training Certification
