What you will do:

  • Build and manage strategic partnerships by establishing relationships with high-impact brand partners to create, plan and implement mutually beneficial B2C marketing campaigns, focusing on both brand awareness and user acquisition.
  • Manage existing financial institutions by working with them to establish funding relationships and engage new payment partners for funding opportunities. 
  • Develop and manage affiliate marketing partnerships and programs to drive new user acquisition. This includes identifying key affiliates, negotiating terms, and optimizing affiliate performance.
  • Conceptualize, manage, and execute co-branded campaigns (not limited to within the travel space) targeted at increasing brand awareness, acquiring new users and engaging existing Klook users in Malaysia.
  • Segment partner and industry segments according to market priorities; develop and implement key strategies for partnership and affiliate development based on user behaviour, industry insights, competitive landscape, product lineup, and potential impact.
  • Collaborate with cross-regional business groups and functional areas to deliver high impact partnership projects. Maintain strong knowledge of in-house technology and handle technical discussions to ensure successful implementation and seamless integration with partners’ systems.
  • Collaborate with Marketing Lead and other marketing channels and functions to support the rollout of campaigns (not limited to brand campaigns), marketing plans, ensuring alignment with partnership and affiliate strategies.
  • Manage the implementation and monitor the success of each partner and affiliate campaign by tracking and analyzing relevant data and metrics. Utilize insights to refine strategies and optimize performance.
  • Lead and mentor a team of partnership and affiliate associates. Provide guidance, set objectives, and support their professional development to ensure high performance and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Foster a culture of rapid experimentation, measurement, and iteration to drive continuous improvement in partnership and affiliate efforts.

What you will need:

  • Bachelor’s degree with minimum 5 years’ experience in business development or executing strategic partnerships in the Malaysian market.
  • Demonstrated ability to build, execute, and scale partnership marketing programs from end-to-end.
  • Familiarity with the entire marketing mix, including online and offline channels, and a good understanding of how and when to leverage each.
  • Proven track record of utilizing data to generate insights and drive decisions. Proficiency in manipulating and reconciling data.
  • Excellent command of English, both verbal and written. Conversational Mandarin, Bahasa Melayu, and Chinese dialect skills are a plus.
