PURPOSE OF POSITION:
Assist the Cash Management team with administrative and organizational duties. This will include maintaining and organizing files and completing projects to aid in the effective operation of the department.

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• Completed FAFSA on file demonstrating unmet financial need.
• Maintain a minimum of 6 credit hours of enrollment in eligible courses per semester of participation.
• Maintain an aid-eligible Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) status.
• Possess a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or greater.
• Good organizational skills.
• Effective time management skills.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Experience in Excel and data entry.
• Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently.
• Flexible and creative approach to process improvement.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of products.
• Positive attitude and professional demeanor.
• Ability to be discrete and confidential with information.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Updating, maintaining, and recording information as needed.
• Organizing files and other documents.
• Assisting with special projects as assigned
• Performing office clerical duties and errands.
• Other administrative duties logically associated with the position, as assigned.

INTERNSHIP LEARNING OUTCOMES AND OBJECTIVES:

Students will demonstrate ability to work effectively in a career-oriented office environment through excellent customer service skills and professional interactions with staff. They will learn appropriate communication skills to use effectively with their supervisor and others within the office environment. Develop proficiency in utilizing Microsoft Office software to create, edit, and prepare documents for use in varied projects.

Develop an ability to maintain discretion regarding confidential information. Students will learn how to apply self-motivated characteristics to complete tasks in a timely manner using problem-solving and critical thinking skills when needed. Demonstrate excellent organizational and detail-oriented professional skills of work products and projects. They will develop their ability to edit and proofread documents.
