Responsibilities:
The Greif Early Career Program offers a 10-week corporate internship experience. Interns will undertake assignments and tasks focused on Hospitality. As an intern, you will engage in various assignments and tasks that require daily flexibility and adaptability. Your responsibilities will shift between different roles, whether in the kitchen or front-of-house, depending on the day's needs.
Assist in kitchen operations, including preparing food items, washing dishes, and maintaining a clean kitchen environment
Collaborate with a team to ensure the efficient preparation and service of meals
Participate in event functions by working in the kitchen or serving during events, adapting to the specific requirements of each day
A summer internship at Greif will enable you to:

Collaborate with fellow interns and colleagues on a meaningful project to present at the end of your internship

You will have the opportunity to:
Attend the week-long Internship Summit at Greif’s corporate headquarters in Delaware, Ohio
Assist in hospitality assignments and ongoing projects
Work hands-on in a dynamic environment, applying your academic knowledge to real-world hospitality functions
Attend internship events, social networking events, and roundtables
Potentially present to the Executive Leadership Team at the end of the internship
Contribute to performance goals and assigned projects
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Actively pursuing an undergraduate in a field that emphasizes customer interaction and service, Hospitality Management or a related field.
Minimum completion of two years or more of college preferred prior to the start of your internship
Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Able to work full-time during the 10-week internship experience beginning May 19th, 2025, to July 25th, 2025
What sets you apart:
Strong academic background, with a preferred GPA of 3.5 or above
Previous internship or work experience in a kitchen or hospitality environment
Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
Curiosity and problem-solving skills
Positive Attitude
Excellent written and oral communication skills, organizational, time management, and adaptability skills
Familiarity with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
