As Global Business Process Owner you will be responsible to deploy standard P2P processes, manage process governance, monitor performance and drive process optimisation activities while acting as champion of a process continuous improvement culture. 

This role ensures that standard process for Purchasing, including systems, documentation, KPIs, training, process controls are in place to provide highly effective and efficient end-to-end processes to the business. You will act as a subject matter expert (SME) and key functional contact for business partners in all matters concerning the AP process, policies, external benchmarks, new solutions implementation. You will be an active change manager, leading the business team to promote quality delivery, standardisation and adoption of the S4 ERP template solution.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of P2P, the ability to work with cross-functional teams, demonstrate and implement processes to improve operational efficiency, all with a strong sense of ownership and urgency.

What you will be responsible for:

Process Standardisation

  • Standardization of Procure to Pay process with a special focus on the Purchasing side of the process (Procure to Receive)

  • Coordinate with the service delivery teams to standardise where appropriate, share learning and best practices, and ensure alignment with the end-to-end process objectives and initiatives

  • First Point of Contact for P2P Country Operational leads for any queries or training required on process or use of standard tools

  • Create, update and maintain process taxonomy, process mapping and SOPs in a BPM solution.

  • Develop and Support P2P audits for all in-scope Business

Process Improvement

  • Continuous monitoring of P2P process performance and efficiency, engage with the business, diagnose problems that may be related to process, technology, strategy, or people and put in place a clear business case and action plan to manage unresolved issues and optimise process performance.

  • Responsible to own topics End to End - from root cause analysis, through solution proposal & approval among all stakeholders as well as deployment of solution

  • Identify improvements required in S4 to provide an efficient and user friendly purchasing process.

Project Management & Support

  • Leading workshops to analyse problem root-cause and propose/support/coordinate implementation of agreed corrective and preventive actions across organization

  • Hands-on attitude to lead projects related to Purchasing, work with IT, Procurement and Finance for testing on changes related to payables.

About you:

  • Minimum 5 years Solid experience in Purchasing business processes

  • BPO Experience is an advantage

  • Advanced knowledge of SAP (S4 MM, OpenText (VIM))

  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively to audiences at different levels in the Organization

  • Strong sense of ownership and self-drive is a must

  • Demonstrated initiative with commitment and ability to work under pressure, while maintaining high quality standards

  • Exceptional problem solving, analytical, verbal and written communication skills

  • Fluent in Business English both written and oral

Salary ranges from 5000  to 6250 euro gross depending on your experience.
