Sr. Data Governance Advisor plans and executes enterprise-wide data governance frameworks to enhance data quality and protect sensitive data. This role involves standardizing data governance practices, understanding regulatory changes, and developing data governance models and processes.
In this role, your responsibilities will include:
Plan and implement data governance frameworks to improve data quality and protection.
Standardize data governance and management practices across the organization.
Enhance processes by understanding regulatory changes and their impact.
Develop data governance models, including master data management.
Facilitate data quality, data risk management, and protection adoption requirements.
Drive compliance with data management policies and guidelines.
Develop and maintain comprehensive databases for key intelligence integration.
Liaise between business and IT to ensure clear communication of data governance requirements.
Monitor performance regarding data-related goals and standards, recommending improvements.
Provide consultative guidance on data migration, document management, and data quality.
Develop data value propositions

Solid verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration and reporting
Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to see the big picture with high attention to critical details
You must possess the below minimum education requirements and minimum required qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Relevant experience can be obtained through schoolwork, classes, project work, internships, and/or military experience. Additional preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree with 9+ years of experience, OR Master’s Degree with 6+ years of experience, OR PHD with 4+ years of experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, or STEM-related field.
3+ years of experience with data governance and metadata tools.
3+ years of experience in building out data governance practices for businesses.
3+ years of consultant experience in data governance, data quality (DQ), and data risk management.
3+ years of demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver them on time and within scope.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US:
$131,841.00-$210,951.00Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience.
Work Model for this Role
This role is available as a fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need.
