We are looking for a strategic and experienced Infrastructure Product Manager who will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the modern Infrastructure platform and support a critical component of realizing BILL’s strategic goals. You will be responsible for defining and executing the strategic vision for enhancing the internal developer experience and modernizing the infrastructure for BILL. This role requires:

  • A deep understanding of e2e developer workflow for creating and running services locally and pushing them to production in AWS
  • Experience in managing dependencies 
  • Passion for delivering user-centric solutions for internal developers.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and communicate a comprehensive infrastructure strategy for BILL, primarily focused on modernizing the infrastructure and enhancing the developer experience. This strategy should align with business goals, compliance standards, and core principles
  • Drive quick and strong consensus for customer-centric vision and strategy by engaging with internal stakeholders and expressing that strategy through bold product roadmaps, collaborating closely with product leaders and software engineers, system architects and participating in all levels of the execution sequence to deliver key results
  • Develop strong value-based metrics and goals that guide the iterative learning and delivery model to validate solutions to the most important developer problems as they evolve over time.
  • Champion a developer-first approach to platform infrastructure conducting user research, and utilizing feedback to continuously improve and innovate automated deployment-related features.
  • Drive and support ML Operations: 
  • Oversee ML model lifecycle: evaluation, training, retraining, and decommissioning.

We’d love to chat if you have:

  • Ideally 8+ years of product management serving products and platforms used by a technical audience; you enjoy operating on quick iteration cycles while working with customers across a multitude of internal organizations with executive stakeholders.
  • Proven experience as a Product Manager, with a focus on platform/cloud infrastructure or related areas; experience with developer experience products, ML Ops process, AWS cloud native services, GitLab, CI/CD process and hands-on previous dev experience is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams.
  • A good balance of technical depth and customer empathy to deliver best in class platform  solutions.

Our ranges for each role and job level are based on a variety of factors including candidate experience, expertise, and geographic location and may vary from the amounts listed below.
