Your Impact
This role will lead the international expansion of Axon Evidence Local, our on-premises digital evidence management solution with a global customer base. You will be instrumental in identifying and securing new markets where cloud-based solutions are not a viable option. Develop competitive insights and collaborate effectively with international sales and sales engineering teams to secure new business opportunities. You'll collaborate closely with the Axon Evidence Local product manager, acting as a subject matter expert on certain product capabilities. A key aspect of this role will be to more formally productize the relationship between our cloud solution, Axon Evidence, and Axon Evidence Local, including developing and implementing a comprehensive cloud migration strategy for existing Axon Evidence Local customers.

This role reports directly to the Sr. Director of DEMs & Devices. At Axon, we pride ourselves on our innovative technology and our commitment to enhancing safety and efficiency worldwide. What You’ll Do

    • Gain in-depth knowledge of Axon Evidence Local features and become a trusted resource for sales, professional services, and technical support teams on product inquiries.
    • Conduct market analysis to understand competitor offerings and develop strategies to enhance Axon Evidence Local's competitiveness.
    • Assist with voice-of-customer sessions to explore customer needs, write product requirements and documentation, and collaborate with engineering to develop features.
    • Work with Axon Evidence Local customers to understand their current needs, challenges, and objectives for migrating to Evidence.com.
    • Facilitate a seamless transition to our cloud-based solution, Axon Evidence, by translating customer requirements and migration challenges into actionable product roadmap items for the engineering team.
    • Guide customers through their cloud migration journey to ensure a smooth and successful transition to Axon Evidence, and proactively identify opportunities to improve the migration process and enhance the customer experience.
    • Collaborate on developing competitive proposals and quotations by leveraging your in-depth product knowledge and technical expertise.
    • Advise the professional services team and other customer-facing roles on the best deployment models for integrating Axon Evidence into a customer's enterprise infrastructure.
    • Conduct product training sessions with various teams at Axon (including Sales, Proposals, Professional Services, and Support) as well as with customers to enhance product adoption and increase customer satisfaction.

What You Bring

    • Bachelor’s Degree: In Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
    • Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of enterprise networks, server/client architecture, network bandwidth, video streaming, storage, and databases. Experience with both on-premise and cloud integration is a plus.
    • Product Management Experience: 1+ years of product management experience, preferably with exposure to enterprise software solutions or digital evidence management systems.
    • Customer-Facing Experience: Demonstrated experience working directly with customers to understand their needs, gather feedback, and guide them through complex technical processes.
    • Communication Skills: Proven ability to write clear, precise, and compelling technical content for both technical and non-technical audiences.
    • IT Project Delivery: Experience in delivering IT projects. Experience with projects involving data migration or large-scale software deployments is a plus. 
    • Problem Solving and Creative Thinking: Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems creatively and strategically.
    • Flexibility: Willingness to travel internationally when necessary (~10%).
