With the creation of a combined investments business within AllianceBernstein, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced program manager to help build a cohesive investments intern and rotational program to ensure a strong pipeline of junior talent to fill investment roles within Equities, Fixed Income and Multi-Asset Solutions. The program will initially focus on undergraduate investment professionals in the United States, with future program growth likely to come from including master level students as well as program expansion internationally. The successful candidate will both be able to influence the design of the program while being responsible for all aspects of the success of the program. In addition, where bandwidth allows, this role will support the development and engagement of junior talent across the investment teams.

What You’ll Do:

  • Partner with business leaders to identify intern and early career talent needs across the firm

  • Redesign all aspects of our current intern and associate rotational program to reflect our new “one investment team” focus, setting clear program goals and measurements of success

  • Create a campus strategy, identifying targeted schools and preferred applicant profile and qualifications based on talent needs

  • Identify network of internal support needed for program (e.g., deans/steering committee/mentors) and identify roles and responsibilities for everyone involved; oversee management of internal support

  • Serve as manager of all intern and rotational associates and provide them regular feedback and coaching to grow and develop them into successful investment professionals

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years of experience either in investment teams or running campus program for investment professionals – financial services industry experience is strongly preferred

  • Prior experience and established networks with universities and colleges admissions is a plus

  • Ability to successfully mentor and coach junior investment professionals in a manner that enhances their development

  • Ability to work in a fast pace environment, handling responsibilities in an independent and proactive manner

  • Experience and comfort interacting with senior leadership

  • Proven experience working successfully in a team environment with strong skills influencing colleagues without direct authority

In accordance with applicable law, the minimum and maximum base annual salary for this role is as follows:

Base Salary Range: $130,000 to $180,000

Actual base salaries may vary based on factors including but not limited to education, training, experience, past performance, and other job-related factors. Base salary is just one component of total compensation at AB, which may include, depending on eligibility, commissions, year-end incentive compensation, short- and long-term incentives and Department-specific awards.
