Job description

The Office Print Global Marketing organization is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Product Marketing Manager to develop differentiating and compelling value propositions, positioning, narratives, messaging, and core sales content that drive brand preference and enable commercial print business growth.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about B2B business and marketing, possess a deep understanding of market trends and customer needs, and demonstrate the ability to effectively collaborate with the business unit, regional marketing leaders, insights, Marcom, and Public Relations to deliver the vision. Strong communication skills, creativity, and the ability to integrate product, sales, and marketing needs and constraints to deliver on-target narratives that help exceed company goals are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Market Research and Analysis
    • Conduct thorough market research to understand customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape.
    • Analyze market data to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Customer Insights
    • Gather and analyze customer feedback to inform product development and marketing strategies.
    • Maintain a deep understanding of customer personas and pain points.
  • Portfolio and Product Positioning and Messaging
    • Develop clear and compelling product positioning, messaging, and value propositions.
    • Craft and communicate product stories that resonate with target audiences.
  • Sales Enablement
    • Develop sales tools and training materials to support the sales team in effectively selling the product.
    • Conduct product training sessions and provide ongoing support to the sales team.
  • Budget management
    • Manage budget with accuracy and in alignment with applicable company policies.
  • Strong leadership: 
    • Exhibit a strong work ethic as a self-starter who takes initiative and can manage complex projects and deliver measurable results within tight deadlines.
  • Collaboration is key: 
    • Build strong partnerships across cross-functional teams and display excellent influencing, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities, contributing to the team's success.
       

Qualifications:

  • BA in Marketing or related field, MBA or similar preferred.
  • 5-10 years of proven experience in product marketing, ideally with experience in B2B Communications.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and leading integrated marketing campaigns, launches, and product messaging.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn data-driven insights into impactful strategies and messaging, with eye for creativity.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, including crafting compelling presentations and marketing collateral.
  • Exceptional cross-functional collaboration and ability to influence stakeholders across various teams and levels.
  • Flexibility and the ability to pivot when changes occur rapidly.
  • Ability to interface effectively with executive management.
  • Natural curiosity with a passion for understanding market trends and customer needs.
  • Self-starter mentality and attention to detail with the ability to manage complexity and urgency.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is $102,500.00 -- $157,850.00 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
