About the Role:
T. Rowe Price is seeking a strategic and driven ETF Marketing Director to lead and maximize our marketing efforts in the rapidly growing active ETF market. This role demands a proven marketing leader with a strong understanding of financial markets, particularly ETFs, an innovative approach, and an aptitude for driving business results. The ideal candidate will excel in cross-functional collaboration and have a deep understanding of the ETF space.
Key Responsibilities:
ETF Marketing Strategy & Execution:
- Develop and implement strategic marketing plans that Build awareness and affinity for T. Rowe Price’s ETF investment capabilities and drive growth in the ETF segment.
- Identify market opportunities and create targeted marketing strategies to effectively position T. Rowe Price ETFs in the marketplace.
- Develop and lead the event strategy for ETFs, including planning and executing a range of events such as conferences, seminars, webinars, and other promotional activities.
- Utilize data-driven insights and analytics to refine marketing strategies and ensure the effectiveness of campaigns.
Leadership and Strategic Influence
- Influence and lead cross-functional teams consisting of marketing, analytics, and distribution professionals to create integrated marketing strategies.
- Work closely with various teams to guide, direct, and support marketing initiatives.
- Manage budgets, timelines, and priorities for marketing projects to ensure the effective execution of marketing campaigns.
Collaboration with Distribution Leaders:
- Partner with distribution and sales leaders to ensure alignment between marketing initiatives and sales objectives.
- Create marketing materials and sales enablement tools that help distribution teams effectively communicate the value proposition of T. Rowe Price ETFs to advisors and clients.
- Conduct regular meetings with distribution leaders to gather feedback, assess needs, and adjust marketing tactics accordingly.
Metrics and Performance Evaluation:
- Set KPIs and metrics to track the success of marketing campaigns and initiatives.
- Analyze campaign performance data to identify areas of improvement and make data-driven adjustments.
- Report on marketing performance to senior leadership and stakeholders, highlighting successes and strategies for improvement.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, finance, or related field; MBA preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in marketing roles within the financial services industry, with a focus on ETFs.
- FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses or willingness to obtain after hire.
Preferred:
- Demonstrated success in partnering with business leaders, leading cross-functional teams and managing complex marketing projects.
- Strong understanding of ETF products, market dynamics, and regulatory environment.
- Excellent communication, project management, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with distribution leaders and other key stakeholders.
- The ability to work 3 days a week from our Baltimore, MD office or the ability to relocate to the Baltimore area.
FINRA Requirements
FINRA licenses are required and will be supported for this role.
Work Flexibility
This role is eligible for remote work up to two days a week.
