About the role

✅ Salary: $150,000 + Expected TC: ~$190,000 with quarterly performance bonuses + a competitive equity package

The performance marketing designer will will directly to our VP of Growth and will be responsible for designing all of our paid and email creatives. 

What does the role look like?

This role will be our first dedicated performance marketing designer we’ve hired to focus solely on paid ads and email creatives. Day to day this role will consist of designing all of our paid and email assets. You will work closely with our paid, lifecycle, coaching partnerships, socials, and marketing team to execute on all design needs. Some example of email creatives you’ll design range from our creator onboarding sequence, to new user sign up welcome journeys. On the paid side you’ll be responsible for designing the templates we use for all catalog, tag, and coaching ads. We believe heavily in testing everything, so you can expect to create hundreds of different designs per week for paid/email. The more output you produce the more we can test new theories leading us to the most optimal designs over time. 

A given week in this role will look like designing ~100 new paid ad templates we want to test + designing 5 new email templates we will be using for a new journey we’re testing. Outside of designing you’ll be working closely with the marketing team on strategy and metrics. This is a metrics heavy role, meaning you be expected to utilize metrics heavily when making new design iterations. 

Your first 90 days will look like the following:

  • Within 30 days, you will design your first 100 ads and 10 emails
  • Within 60 days, you will be owning all paid + email creative
  • Within 90 days, continue designing all new creatives + working closely with the team on metrics/strategy

    1. Designing all of our paid ad creatives plus all email creative designs
    2. Iterate on hundreds of designs weekly
    3. Test out tons of new concepts
    4. Review the metrics from your assets to find areas of improvements

Who you are

  • You must have worked directly with creators running online businesses previously or had your own online business. 
  • You are metrics obsessed/driven and use metrics to inform design decisions.
