As a Senior Engineer, Technical Audit & MAM, you will enable the success of the HBM programs by leading technical initiatives and programs to ensure HIG lab activities meet compatibility and compliance to ISO 9000 and IATF 16949 standards. You will drive quality improvement efforts and strategically resolve non-conformances, aligning with our mission to facilitate faster learning, communication, and efficiency. You will be tasked to establish a quality management system (QMS) that emphasizes continual improvement, defect prevention, and the reduction of variation and waste in the supply chain. 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • QMS & Technical Program Responsibilities:

    • Initiate technical improvement projects using 8D methodology and problem-solving processes.

    • Coordinate activities across different SMEs to support project execution.

    • Allocate resources efficiently across projects and monitor resource utilization.

    • Facilitate communication between project teams and stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and issues.

    • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies, monitoring and managing risks throughout the project lifecycle.

    • Track project performance against established metrics and KPIs, conducting post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement.

  • Audit Management Responsibilities:

  • Advocate for the HIG Lab and ensure the effectiveness of lab activities.

  • Develop and maintain process artifacts.

  • Lead or facilitate business process reviews to ensure planned performance.

  • Provide process metrics and improve performance results.

  • Report performance to stakeholders.

  • Promote the use of the process approach and risk-based thinking.

  • Manage risk using the RBT App, monitoring and updating risks, treatments, and contingency plans as applicable.

  • Coordinate business process improvement activities to maintain a competitive edge.

  • MAM/MES implementation

    • Establish a workflow system for HIG Lab qualification activities.

    • Serve as the business owner for QA processes in HBM enablement.

    • Provide user requirements and collaborate with the AT MES modernization project team to create automation capabilities for QA workflow and reporting.

    • Ensure successful tracking for all HBM-related steps and execute complete and successful MAM / MES implementation.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.

  • 5-7 years of experience in engineering, quality management, or related roles.

  • Strong understanding of IATF, ISO 9001, and other industrial standards.

  • Experience in project management is an added advantage.

  • Strong knowledge of Micron's processes (design, test, development, manufacturing).

  • Knowledge of chip package interaction and its impact on manufacturing and design processes.
