PRIMARY FUNCTION
The Mechanical Integrator assembles, installs, test, troubleshoots, and repairs mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and components in support of various military platforms. The position requires an in-depth knowledge of mechanical principals, equipment and shop practices. The ability to read, interpret, and execute to complex schematics, drawings, sketches, engineering blueprints, and modification instructions and work closely with the engineering team to provide input and ensure proper intent on prototype builds.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Demonstrable knowledge of simplistic task associated with the fabrication and assembly of mechanical, and hardware assemblies.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, sketches, engineering blueprints, and modification instruction for installing, fabricating, and welding a variety of mechanical systems and components for various military ground support systems.
• Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Knowledgeable of all types general machining and welding practices.
• Must have good working knowledge of general fabrication shop tools and equipment.
• Ability to perform simple shop math (i.e. convert decimals to fractional equivalents).
• Ability to multitask and adjust to flexible work requirements.
• Ability to read a caliper, tape measure, and precision measuring tools.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and be able to communicate work completion via written and oral presentation to the Project Manager/Lead
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position has the responsibility and authority to carry out assigned task with no supervisory responsibilities. However, personnel who demonstrate consistent leadership and communications skills, combined with technical knowledge, quick and proactive involvement with people and processes are generally considered for promotion as a lead and subsequently acquire grater roles and success within the organization.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:

• Intermediate computer skills specifically using Microsoft Office Suite; ability to learn additional computer skills or software programs.
• Ability to enter data accurately into databases.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
• Must be able work effectively and cooperatively with all levels of management and staff.
• Must be trustworthy – will handle confidential information routinely
• Effective oral and technical written communication skills to effectively and clearly communicate information to others.
• Ability to use general office equipment such as fax, phone, copier, etc.
• Ability to follow a process.
• Strong professional customer service skills, including active listening, prompt service and follow-up.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to evaluate data and consider decision impact across multiple areas.
• Strong decision analysis and problem solving skills; ability to draw conclusions and justify decisions. Must be able to communicate issues to management and regulatory agencies
• Ability to learn and understand corporate policies and procedures and how they relate to Yulista goals.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical computations, detect unobvious facts and issues, and exercise resourcefulness in resolving problems.
• Must be able to work independently and stay on task with minimal supervision
• Ability to multi-task.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have a high school diploma with additional college/technical school course work in a related skill set preferred.
• At least 5 years’ experience in Aerospace, Military, Defense, Manufacturing, Assembly or similar background preferred.
• Must be willing to travel if needed to complete customer requirements for the project.
• Ability to pass a drug and background screening.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a govern security clearance.
