Job Description Summary:

What you need to know about the role:
We seek a Director of Program Management to oversee and ensure the delivery of the total portfolio of projects and programs for the Revolving Credit product line. You will report to the Sr Director of SMB & Financial Services.

Meet our team:
The Revolving Credit team manages PayPal’s consumer suite of credit card products, including PayPal Credit and the PayPal Cashback Mastercard, that provide PayPal customers with rewarding and flexible ways to pay for their purchases.

As the Director of Program Management for our Revolving Credit products, you will be required to elevate progress updates across senior leadership teams, executives, internal project team members, stakeholders, and external service providers to create, measure, and communicate program goals, plans, milestones, timelines, and metrics for assigned projects.

You will work closely with members of Product Management, Engineering, Visual Design, Content, Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams, as well as with all levels of management within the organization, to facilitate the tracking and resolution of resource requirements, program activities, and commitments.

Your day-to-day:

In your day-to-day you will:

  • Provide oversight and program leadership across the Revolving Credit product portfolio. Evaluate, implement, and enhance project management best practices and governance operating model to strengthen program teams, tools, and communication channels. 
  • Collaborate with Product Management, Architecture, Design, Engineering, and business partners to develop and execute plans. 
  • Manage all aspects of programs, including defining and prioritization, mobilizing cross-functional teams, project execution tracking of milestones and schedules, resource planning and management, risks/issues remediation, and providing program management expertise to deliver impactful business and customer outcomes.
  • Hire, inspire, and coach a team of program managers, lead the team to build trusted partnerships across product and platform teams, and grow domain expertise. 
  • Lead the organization to streamline processes, simplify and accelerate execution, manage objectives and key results, release on time, and bring tooling efficiencies.
  • Effectively engage with people at all levels, from front-line team members to VPs, SVPs, and C-level executives, communicating continuously with partners throughout the organization. 

What do you need to bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of related experience leading execution and portfolio management.
  • Experience in fintech and payments technology tech stack is a plus. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability, with a focus on driving results, fostering innovation, and building high-performing teams.
