About the Team
Through advocacy and strategic solutions, the People Partnerships and Development (PPD) team enables Aurorans to excel in their work, drive business success, and pursue professional development and career growth. The PPD team supports all Aurorans by implementing effective people and organizational strategies and programs that foster continuous learning. Additionally, the team applies people policies, tools, and systems while assisting with coaching, performance management, organizational efficiency, and workforce planning.
About the Role
In this role, the HR Business Partner will collaborate with senior leaders to provide expert advice on the organization’s long-term goals, employee initiatives, and overall well-being. They will also establish valuable relationships with employees to support them throughout their time at Aurora Solar. Client groups supported: Tech (Product, Design, Engineering) and G&A.
Your Impact
Partner with client group management to align business priorities with people strategies, optimizing for team performance, and engagement, to understand talent needs and develop strategies for retaining, and developing top talent. This includes organizational planning, workforce planning, and talent management
Establish and maintain a deep comprehension of your client groups and the industry, as well as emerging trends in talent management and organizational health
Provide valuable support and mentorship to both management and employees, guiding them in the following areas: performance evaluation, organization structure, goal setting, career development, talent data analysis, compensation and rewards, legal risk mitigation/compliance, employee relations, learning and development, organizational change, engagement, recognition programs, etc.
Drive employee engagement efforts, gathering insights and feedback to improve the employee experience. Help maintain and shape the desired company culture, even during times of significant change
Provide guidance and support to leaders and employees during ongoing transformation initiatives. Help design and implement organizational change strategies that foster employee resilience and adaptability
Partner with People functions (People Ops, Talent Acquisition, and Total Rewards) to develop HR solutions, build programs, and policies that support business and employee growth
What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; or equivalent working experience
8+ years HR experience. At least 2 years as an HR Business Partner or HR Generalist/Manager directly supporting senior leaders with proven performance history as a strategic HR partner
Proven experience managing through organizational change
Sharp discernment and ability to align people's strategies with strategic objectives
Excellent social and communication skills with expertise in coaching and influencing with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization and with a strong customer focus
Highly collaborative and adaptable approach, cultivating an environment of trust, inclusion, and belonging
Demonstrated experience in culture-building and employee engagement
Thorough comprehension of all HR functions and standard methodologies; proven practical knowledge of HR data and metrics
Ability to work independently, prioritize, and adapt to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
