About the Role:
We are looking for a highly experienced and strategic Senior Director of Human Resources to lead our HR operations in the EMEA region. This hands-on role requires a confident and seasoned HR professional who can balance both operational and strategic responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be skilled at managing complex relationships with senior leaders, building and maintaining works council relationships, and ensuring compliance with global policies, local agreements and laws.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee general HR administration and management for the EMEA region, including signing contracts and ensuring office compliance.
Maintain and build effective relationships with works councils.
Adapt international HR policies to comply with local office regulations and laws.
Manage a team of 4 HR Business Partners (HRBPs).
Foster strong relationships with senior leaders in the region.
Collaborate with the global HR team and Executive Leadership Team (ELT).
Operate within a structure that includes centers of excellence.
Ensure effective communication and negotiation with German-speaking stakeholders, ELT members, legal teams, and lawyers.
Requirements:
Proven experience in a senior HR leadership role, preferably in the IT industry or a fast-paced environment such as Pharma.
Bilingual proficiency in German and English is essential.
Strong operational and strategic HR skills.
Confidence and gravitas to interact with senior leaders, legal professionals, and other high-level stakeholders.
Experience managing HR teams and developing HR policies that comply with local and international regulations.
Ability to work collaboratively with a global HR team and senior leadership.
