As a Program Manager, you will oversee and maintain initiatives related to an assigned program, focusing on developing systems and procedures that enhance patient care at the Cleveland Clinic. You will work closely with finance, accounting, accounts payable, post-award administration, and special projects accounting (SPA) teams to manage all financial aspects of awarded grants, including updating projections, processing payments, running payroll reports, posting journal entries, and performing cost-price analyses for purchases over $10,000. This role involves significant financial responsibility, including setting up and maintaining grants according to budget allocations. In addition, you will have numerous opportunities to grow your skills through hands-on experience, contributing directly to the advancement of healthcare initiatives.

A caregiver in this role works days from 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

A caregiver who excels in this role will:

  • Develop, implement, manage, and maintain operational systems and activities. 

  • Serve as a liaison with all levels of the organization and outside community. 

  • Manage multiple priorities and projects with competing deadlines. 

  • Allocate time to meet completion requirements. 

  • Serve as a coach and mentor for other positions in the department. 

  • Review and monitor adherence to Human Resources policies and corporate compliance procedures. 

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:  

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or a related field and two years of experience in project management, data analysis and systems training

  • OR High School Diploma/GED and six years of experience

  • OR Associate’s Degree and four years of experience

  • OR Master’s Degree and one year of experience 

  • Knowledge of statistical and financial analysis, primary research and business plan development 

Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:  

  • Experience in a healthcare setting 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance

  • Understanding of accounting and finance

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods

  • Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment

  • Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information

  • Ability to travel throughout the hospital system
