Duties and Responsibilities

The Logistics Team Lead will be responsible for supporting our fleet and dispatch operations. This role will ensure that delivery routes are assigned, vehicle maintenance is tracked, and drivers are supported in their daily tasks.

  • Print delivery documentation and assign delivery routes for CDL and box truck drivers.
  • Assist in scheduling regular maintenance for company vehicles.
  • Keep records of vehicle maintenance and inspections and ensure all permitting per DOT regulations are updated.
  • Support the driving team with daily needs and questions, leading the team of drivers to build a cohesive team.
  • Communicate with drivers and other team members to ensure smooth operations.
  • Plan and organize third party transportation support as needed to support the delivery requirements of the Customer.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a dispatch or transportation support role is a plus.
  • Prior knowledge of dispatching/transportation practices.
  • Comfortable using computers and basic office software.
  • Able to follow procedures in emergency or unexpected situations.
  • Good communication skills in English (spoken and written).
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to use a computer, phone, and office equipment regularly.
