About the Role

Responsible for managing AIA Indonesia’s Sharia business unit, ensuring compliance with Sharia principles and expanding market reach.

1. Sharia Business Strategy & Development

  • Define and execute a long-term business strategy for Sharia insurance.
  • Identify new market opportunities and develop innovative Sharia products to enhance market penetration.
  • In Agreement with Executive committee, set and monitor sales and revenue targets for the Sharia business.

2. Risk Management & Financial Oversight

  • Identify and manage risks related to Sharia business operations.
  • Work with finance teams to monitor business performance and ensure financial sustainability.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure efficiency and compliance.

3. Sharia Compliance & Governance

  • Ensure that all products, services, and business processes comply with Sharia principles and Indonesian regulatory requirements.
  • Work closely with Dewan Pengawas Syariah (DPS) for product approval and governance.
  • Stay updated on Sharia compliance regulations and industry trends.

4. Product Development & Innovation

  • Oversee the development of competitive Sharia-compliant insurance products.
  • Work with actuarial, underwriting, and product development teams to ensure product sustainability.
  • Implement effective pricing and risk management strategies.

5. Market Expansion & Distribution

  • Develop and implement sales, marketing, and distribution strategies for Sharia insurance.
  • Expand agency networks and digital channels for better market penetration.
  • Build strategic partnerships to enhance Sharia product distribution.

6. Education & Training

  • Provide training and guidance to employees, agents, and partners on Sharia insurance.
  • Develop internal policies and training programs to ensure Sharia compliance across all teams.
