About the Role

Responsible for supporting specific functional / business areas in terms of information system needs

  • Leads overall vendor management for the Local IT Business Unit in conjunction with local IT Service Management Team, Group IT Vendor Contract Management and Local & Group Sourcing/Procurement teams to create a more collaborative relationships with key 3rd party vendors that aim to uncover and realize new value while reducing risk of failure in the pursuit of Local IT Business Unit’s 3rd party vendor performances which appropriately support the seamless provision of quality IT product and services particular to the overall delivery of local IT Business Unit commitments.
  • Creates a single point of visibility and control to ensure consistency of vendor services and performance in the context of overall IT Business Unit 3rd Party Vendor/Supplier/Partner Landscape particular to the delivery of Local IT Service Commitments including supplier risk management and innovations.
  • Provides accurate and timely Vendor Contract Management monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports to local and Group IT Management reviews and decisions.
  • Maintains a supplier strategy, policy, and contract management information, including establishment, monitoring, and control of Service Level Agreements and Underpinning Contracts, Vendor financial management, credits/penalties and earn backs.
  • Assists the IT Business Unit like IT Service Management and other IT department teams in negotiating and agreeing contracts and arrangements where Agreements need to be aligned with business needs and service targets
  • Guides the IT Service Management team and other IT department teams in ensuring contracts with external suppliers are negotiated or agreed through established legal, procurement, commercial, or contracts functions of the organization
  • Assists in managing relationships and contracts with external suppliers during planning, designing, building, orchestrating, transitioning, and operating products and services, working closely with procurement, IT Service Management and other relevant IT department teams.
  • Manages supplier performance wherein supplier performance is monitored to ensure that they meet the terms, conditions, and targets of their contracts and agreements, while aiming to increase the value for money obtained from suppliers and the products/services they provide.
  • Establishes and Maintains a robust Supplier Management Database based on applicable new and established procedures, policies, metrics, and department/team requirement, including development and cultivation of new 3rd Party Vendor relationships integral to emerging technologies and solutions
  • Provides recommendations to Local IT Business Unit department/project teams on appropriate 3rd Party Vendors for new IT Solutions or engagements
  • Works closely with Local IT Finance and other Finance team for accurate and timely vendor financial management and ensuring a healthy IT 3rd Party Vendors financial relationship while achieving overall IT Business Unit financial and service delivery objectives
  • Ensures establishment & maintenance of Vendor Contract Management knowledge database and continual process improvements and/or innovations using appropriate models & methodologies to effectively and efficiently achieve overall IT Business Unit Objectives.
  • Supports the IT Business Unit Function in other items required to meet business needs.
