This is an exciting opportunity to join GSK as a Commercial Launch Lead, Respiratory (m/f/d), focused on the Netherlands market.

It is a newly created role, allowing you to further entrench GSK’s market-leading position in pulmonology, and set the foundation for the cross-functional team to achieve launch excellence for an innovative new biological treatment option.

This role could be an ideal opportunity for you to set direction, inspire and develop a high performing cross functional team. You will also be responsible for establishing market leading strategic and operating priorities, and drive ambitious plans to optimize patient care. Candidates will need to be based in the Netherlands.

Your responsibilities:

  • Leadership: Lead the cross-functional product team by providing a clear strategic vision, and by embedding a winning, growth mindset for the portfolio within the organization. The leadership role extends to external customers and stakeholders at all relevant levels.

  • Insights & subject matter expertise: Continuously seek to interpret and embed customer, patient and market insights into all product & disease awareness campaign activities: synthesizing qualitative and quantitative insights to identify opportunities and inform and drive actions. Incorporate AI to ensure optimised insights for omnichannel engagement.

  • Set foundations for launch excellence: Drive launch preparedness through cross-functional excellence to develop exceptional strategic and operational plans. Partner effectively with above-country teams to ensure launch preparedness, maximising alignment with global strategy & launch guidance. Showcase exceptional planning, risk mindset and collaborative capabilities to effectively drive a bold and industry leading plan.

  • Operations and execution: Deliver integrated campaigns with operational excellence: in alignment with LOC and above country guidelines, the ethical code, and internal GSK policy. Ensure Advertising & Promotion (A&P) budgets are defined in close collaboration with the Finance Partner and Business Unit Head. Set challenging and outcome driven lead and lag indicators.

  • Field engagement: Ensure targeting and segmentation is embedded into launch preparations – adopting a holistic, portfolio-centric mindset, and lay the foundations for sales excellence.

  • External focus: Continuously gather customer insights; seeking feedback on marketing inputs and campaigns from relevant External Experts across diverse domains.

  • Digital activation: Lead the product team to drive digital capabilities, engagement, and execution. Co-create compelling digital customer journeys, leveraging market insights to ensure channel mix excellence.

Why you?

Basic Qualifications:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

  • Demonstrable 5+ years pharma/commercial experience in Specialty or Oncology pharma/biologics marketing, new product planning/commercial development, and brand strategy development and execution.

  • Prior experience with a product launch, or significant experience with marketing, market access strategy, market research or forecasting.

  • Strong, team-oriented leader with excellent communication skills and the ability to influence, lead, negotiate and work effectively at all levels within a matrix environment.

  • Risk mindset maturity to enable strong performance.

  • Experience in leading and developing long range brand plans, budgets and forecasts.

  • Demonstrated abilities working across functions to align, motivate, and coordinate team members to collectively define and achieve critical milestones (influencing without direct authority).

  • Demonstrable experience developing and tracking progress against KPIs.

  • Experience tracking and managing budgets with finance counterparts.

  • Strong interpersonal & presentation skills.

  • Demonstrates enthusiasm, strong initiative, and high sense of urgency.

  • Successful experience working in a matrix organization.

  • Strong project management, collaboration skills, and innovative thinking.

  • Results and solution orientation amidst ambiguity.

  • A passion for healthcare and bringing medicines to market with a good ability to build relationships with integrity.

  • Fluency in Dutch, and a high proficiency in English.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience within pulmonology / specialty / oncology.

  • Successful experience in launching specialty and/or oncology brands.
