About you and this role - What you will do in this role

The POPG Production Data Analyst/ODMS & Training Coordinator monitors production deviation from standard, investigates the root cause for the deviation and corrects production and inventory data in SAP, as appropriate. The ODMS & Training Coordinator portion of this role ensures the organization maintains compliance with Dow’s required operating discipline and learning standards.  This role requires full proficiency in a range of technical, operational, or analytical/scientific processes and procedures through job-related training and considerable on the job experience to perform a variety of work assignments. Acts as an informal resource for team members with less experience.

Responsibilities - Duties, projects, tasks, and activities you would be responsible for in this role

  • Monitors, ensures, and maintains the accuracy of the production and inventory data in SAP for work process partners and business management including production quantities, raw material consumptions and inventories.
  • Completes inventory reconciliation through month end closing to ensure all inventories in the SAP system are correct and to resolves any discrepancies.
  • Facilitates/Leads strategic planning for the organization through Management System Reviews, MI Planning & Training Forums.
  • Work with the ODMS Element / Section Owners to maintain ODMS compliance and records for each section.
  • Leads the organization to perform gap analysis and close gaps from self-assessment.
  • Works with Process Area Trainer and organization subject matter experts to structure In Plant Training.
  • Design, implement, and monitor systems to ensure training compliance.
  •  Requires a level of independent leadership that directs the activities of others in meeting the business/site objectives.

Qualifications - Required education, experience and abilities that are needed for this role (must haves)

  • A minimum of a High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

  • A minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States.  No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process.

Preferred Skills

  • 3 or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience with SAP in inventory management and reconciliation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Leadership and Independent Work: The role requires a level of independent leadership that directs the activities of others to meet business objectives. It also involves acting as an informal resource for team members with less experience.
  • Interpersonal and Communication Skills: The ability to effectively interact with multiple functions and diverse individuals to achieve goals is crucial. This includes strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to communicate with a very diverse population.
  • Decision Making and Prioritization: Demonstrating excellent decision-making skills and the ability to prioritize appropriately is essential. The role involves managing multiple competing priorities effectively.
  • Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving Skills: The position requires strong troubleshooting skills to investigate the root cause of production deviations and resolve any discrepancies in inventory data.
  • Technical Skills: Specific technical skills or knowledge of certain software or tools such as Microsoft office package applications.
