Responsibilities

• Lead’s CSC in country pilot plant and PLD reviews and response to GSK’s Global Engineering Standards and Policies and EHS Standards.

• Manage the response to pilot plant Engineering Alerts.

• Contribute to CSC in country pilot plant and PLD EHS ICF reviews

• Take on the responsibility to be a Global CSC technical expert for one or more Engineering Standard

• Collaborate with other Engineering Safety Compliance Managers and peers in CSC / R&D to ensure that all Engineering Standards are covered terms of technical expertise as appropriate.

• Be an SME for EHS&S audits.

• Maintain CSC in country pilot plant and PLD compliance with GSK's Global Engineering Standards and Policies and EHS Standards by working with SMEs to assess and close gaps.

• Ensure Engineering Alerts are addressed to meet established timelines by working with SMEs.

• Perform walkthroughs of the pilot plant to ensure the facility is 'ready now' at all times for EHS&S audits.

• Work with Engineering Compliance personnel from other sites and GSC / WREF (where applicable) to learn and establish best practices to address gaps and Engineering Alerts.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

• Minimum 5 years working in a pharmaceutical plant, or equivalent.

• Minimum 2 years managing direct reports.

• BS in engineering or science related field.

• In depth working knowledge of the pharmaceutical process and the safety and compliance requirements for equipment and systems used in it.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload.
