Job Description Summary:
This position has oversight and responsibility for operations, growth, and development of the assigned areas at Logan Health (LH). Develops, implements, and administers successful and consistent service objectives, policies, and procedures. Collaborates with leadership on care management, business strategy, business development, implementation, and execution. Builds and maintains collaborative relationships with employed and independent physicians, staff, patients, and referral sources for assigned area(s). Provides leadership that is consistent with the core values, mission, ethics, policies, and procedures of LH.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of one (1) of the following required:
- Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare, leadership, or business-related field.
- Minimum of five (5) year’s related experience in assigned area(s).
- Minimum of five (5) years’ leadership experience required.
- Prior experience working with physician groups, clinicians, doctors, and staff required.
- Expert level knowledge of interpretation, analysis, production, and application of financial and market data to impact decision-making and business development required.
- Experience developing and executing specific, measurable business plans that have clear financial accountability and create successful, effective results required.
- Demonstrated ability to evaluate and develop patient care services appropriate for the assigned geography required. Expertise in developing profitability-based marketing strategies that effectively acquire new customers and incremental market share growth preferred.
- Possess clinical knowledge in supported practice oversight either through clinical training or through experience preferred.
- Strong ability to develop and interpret research that evolves into successful marketing and business building strategies preferred. Possess knowledge of healthcare trends used for strategic planning and maintains a high level of customer satisfaction preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented, a self-starter, possess critical thinking skills and be able to set priorities and function as part of a team as well as independently.
- Commitment to working in a team environment and maintaining confidentiality as needed.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with various audiences.

Job Specific Duties:
- Supports development and oversight of assigned cost centers to ensure adherence to the LH mission, vision, values, strategic goals, and business strategies. Responsible for meeting financial and productivity staffing targets set annually.
- In collaboration with appropriate stakeholders, develops and implements short-and long -range plans, leads, develops, and revises programs which enhance assigned services.
- Leads assigned area(s) in the overall marketing, program development and leadership service priorities. Coordinates with appropriate stakeholders to ensure continuity in pursing LH goals and synergy in implementing plans and problem resolution.
- Practices process improvement principles to assess and improve the quality of the service/care provided within the assigned area(s). Maintains competency in all organizational, departmental, and outside agency safety standards relevant to job performance for assigned area(s). Ensures compliance of assigned area(s) and staff. Ensures stakeholders follow FDA, GCP, ICH and billing compliance guidelines as applicable to assigned area(s). Ensures clinical trial staff and principal investigators are fully trained and meet all competency requirements to participate in clinical trials as appropriate for assigned area(s).
- Encourages an ethic of open communication and teamwork throughout LH. Builds an environment of shared commitment to LH’s goals and responsibility to achieve quality outcomes. Works in collaboration with the Sponsors, IRBs and regulatory agencies to ensure all reporting is timely and accurate for assigned area(s).
- Provides consultation for related concerns and acts as a customer advocate by demonstrating sensitivity to ethical and legal ramifications of assigned area(s). Promotes customer service through regular interaction with others in a courteous manner and provides proactive service recovery.
- Consults with independent medical groups, business, and community groups to discuss service problems, responds to community needs, enhances public relations, coordinates activities and plans, and promotes health programs as applicable to assigned area(s).
- As applicable to assigned area(s): Provides effective provider engagement, recruitment, and employment agreement negotiation. Monitors agreements for compliance, and reports productivity and payments in accordance with provider contracts.
- As applicable to assigned area(s): Serves as a liaison between employed providers and leadership for assigned area(s). Serves as supervisor for contract and locum providers.
- Maintains awareness of advances in medicine, computerized diagnostic and treatment equipment, data processing technology, government regulations, health insurance changes, and financing options as applicable to assigned area(s). Coordinates and/or develops ongoing performance improvement activities for clinical staff and monitors assigned staff in compliance with standards and regulatory requirements.
- Takes initiative to recommend new strategies and provides well thought out implementation steps.
- Maintains standards of care and adheres to LH policies/procedures.
- Empirical outcomes as demonstrated by (a) participation in data collection efforts as required and endorsed by LH, (b) analysis of outcomes, (c) improvement activities based on the data analysis, and (d) contribution of the reporting improvement activities through designated LH processes as applicable to assigned area(s).

Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
