Job Description

Provide second level oversight to the operational risks across the whole business. Support risk owners and colleagues by guiding them on identifying and controlling risk within their areas, building trust and increasing their knowledge on this subject. Maintaining records, monitoring and reporting results.

What will you do:

  • Maintain the Enterprise Risk Management System (eFront) and support the business to self-manage.
  • Administer the procedure library (DOC_PM) and ensure formal and timely validation of documents.
  • Maintain incident log: Logging detail to comply with regulatory requirements, accurate reporting, monitoring SLAs, following up resolution with action plans.
  • Complete checks on system access, segregation of duty and delegation of authority.  Communicate findings and assess risk.
  • Prepare reports and slides for Committees within the timescales given as required. 
  • Actively oversee the prescribed deliverables of Companywide KPI RCS and escalate when at risk of being missed.  Eg. first level controls, key risk indicators, actions and incident reporting.
  • Communicate with the HQ Risk Teams; responding to requests for information, identify and co-ordinate input from other participants.
  • With growing experience and confidence responsibilities will extend to complete 2nd line assessments on the risk management and controls performed by 1st line.  Evidence based reporting, making recommendations to strengthen the management and control of operational risk.
