Job Summary: 

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Specialist to join our Regulatory Affairs team. This pivotal role bridges the gap between our ServiceNow and Automation teams, serving as the operational backbone of our team. 

As our Specialist, you'll be at the heart of our automation and technology migration efforts, ensuring smooth daily operations while contributing to the long-term success of our process strategies. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at multitasking, and has a passion for the intricate world of insurance. 

  • Perform technology integration scope analysis of ServiceNow and Automation processes 

  • Follow directives, guidelines and procedures around ServiceNow and Automation. 

  • Communicate and manage expectations around technical integration lifts and impact to timelines. 

  • Contribute to a growing knowledge base with the intention of assisting others through creating guides and process documentation 

  • Respond to customer via phone, email, and chat

Responsibilities: 

  • Designs, delivers, maintains, and reviews training solutions and programs based on needs of the organization 

  • Train department staff on cross-discipline process and work items for Regulatory Affairs 

  • Efficiently manage and coordinate the work of the assigned area 

  • Direct and monitor the daily workflow of processes and activities to achieve outcome objectives of the Strategic Team, which change as the business/department drive efficiencies 

  • Act as a liaison to key stakeholders in the organization 

  • Maintain of confidences and protects operations by maintaining a high degree of confidentiality with all sensitive information and assigned tasks 

  • Oversees and assists in reporting, providing project management updates, and meeting key departmental metrics 

  • Provide professional support and assistance through written and oral communications 

  • Maintain day-to-day regulatory documents in an organized and timely fashion at the direction of the team 

  • Resolve non-routine problems, as required

Requirements: 

  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment is required 

  • Must possess strong computing skills, including Microsoft Office and, specifically, Excel 

  • Must be able to work independently after given instructions and guidance and enjoy a high degree of interaction with team members 

  • Must have a high level of problem-solving capacity 

  • Must be self-motivated and driven 

  • Must communicate effectively – both in writing and orally 

  • Must be willing and able to work overtime, particularly between September and December 

 

Education/Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher is preferred, but equitable work experience will be accepted 

  • At least one year insurance-industry experience required 

  • At least one year experience in a regulatory, compliance, or audit environment required 

  • At least three years in a customer service role and/or administrative role is required
