Summary: As an Application Support Engineer, you will act as software detectives, providing a dynamic service identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the infrastructure service management. Your typical day will involve troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the timely resolution of incidents and service requests. With your expertise in infrastructure service management, you will contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the organization's IT operations. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to infrastructure service management. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely resolution of incidents and service requests. - Monitor and maintain the performance and availability of critical business systems. - Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of infrastructure service management. - Provide technical guidance and support to end-users and stakeholders. - Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in infrastructure service management. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Infrastructure Service Management. - Strong understanding of ITIL framework and its application in infrastructure service management. - Experience in incident management, problem management, and change management processes. - Knowledge of IT infrastructure components such as servers, networks, databases, and storage systems. - Familiarity with monitoring tools and technologies for infrastructure performance management. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Infrastructure Service Management. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
