Job Description

YOUR ROLE AS A:

Assistant Manager of Cyber Strategy & Architecture will lead the development and execution of the enterprise's cybersecurity strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements. This role is responsible for designing and overseeing the implementation of a comprehensive cybersecurity architecture that effectively mitigates risk, protects critical assets, and ensures the resilience of the organisation's information systems.


 

WHAT YOU’LL CHAMPION:

  • Develop and maintain the enterprise cybersecurity strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and evolving cyber threat landscapes.

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to integrate cybersecurity into broader business strategies and initiatives.

  • Lead the design and evolution of the enterprise cybersecurity architecture, including network security, application security, identity management, and cloud security.

  • Define and maintain security architecture frameworks and standards that guide secure development and operational processes.

  • Evaluate emerging technologies and security solutions to ensure the organisation's architecture is future-proof and scalable.

  • Promote continuous improvement by researching and incorporating the latest technologies and innovations into the cybersecurity architecture, ensuring the organisation stays ahead of evolving threats.

WHO YOU ARE:

  • Proven ability to design and implement secure network, cloud, and application architectures that align with business objectives and industry standards.

  • Strong capability in developing cybersecurity strategies that address both immediate risks and long-term organisational goals.

  • Expertise in identifying, assessing, and mitigating cybersecurity risks, with a deep understanding of risk management frameworks like ISO 27001 and NIST RMF.

  • Ability to assess and manage risks associated with third-party vendors and ensure adherence to cybersecurity standards.

  • Strong skills in communicating complex cybersecurity issues to non-technical stakeholders and fostering collaboration across different departments.

  • Energetic with strong interpersonal and communication skills
