You know the moment. It’s the first notes of that song you love, the intro to your favorite movie, or simply the sound of someone you love saying “hello.” It’s in these moments that sound matters most.

At Bose, we believe sound is the most powerful force on earth. We’ve dedicated ourselves to improving it for nearly 60 years. And we’re passionate down to our bones about making whatever you’re listening to a little more magical.

The Marketing team at Bose consists of passionate, bold, and music-loving storytellers. We tap into the magic of what makes Bose, BOSE, and through our marketing efforts, connect that magic with people who relate to our belief that sound is the most powerful force on earth.

Job Description

Our Creative Department is a part of the global marketing team. We’re a collection of creative pioneers on a mission to unleash the potential of the brand. And we’re looking for a talented Copywriter to join us.

As a copywriter at Bose, you’ll tell stories that excite our customers. You’ll work as part of a close-knit team of Art Directors, Producers, Marketing Partners, and others inside and outside of Bose to ideate and execute creative that gets results — from campaign concepts and videos to editorial content, product pages, social media, emails, app messaging, and more.

What describes you:

  • You love language.
  • You’re excited about its power to tell stories that touch customers’ hearts and minds.
  • You’ve got ideas. Lots of them.
  • You are always looking to find insights, cultural or human truths, to shape those ideas.
  • And you’re able to consider your ideas strategically and tactically, from concept through execution.
  • People fascinate you. You want to understand, relate to and connect with our customers - and your team.
  • You’re ever curious. You ask great questions, listen deeply, and go wherever the answers might lead you.
  • You want to grow. You challenge yourself (and others) to push boundaries. You welcome informed debate and will passionately defend your decisions.
  • You’re skeptical of “the way we do things.” You’re excited to learn things you don’t already know. And you’re open to failing. When you get it wrong, you learn from it and come out stronger.
  • You’re you. You’re confident that there’s something unique only you could bring to our team. (Tell us what it is in your cover letter!)

What you bring:

  • At least 4-5 years of creative copywriting experience; prior experience leading the creative strategy for projects.
  • You might have agency or in-house creative experience, but we’re open to and encourage applicants from “non-traditional” creative backgrounds to apply, too.
  • Experience writing for various channels and making creative work that gets results.

If this sounds good, we’d love to hear from you!

Please include a link to an online portfolio or a pdf with work samples along with your application. We hope to see work that’ll show us how you think, what you’re passionate about, and why we can’t wait to meet you.
