Scope: The Enterprise Technical Architect – Cloud is responsible for defining and governing the overall cloud architecture strategy across the enterprise. This role provides vision and leadership in designing secure, scalable, and cost-optimized cloud solutions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, IT strategy, and business transformation initiatives. The Enterprise Architect works closely with senior leadership, business stakeholders, and technology teams to establish enterprise standards, architecture frameworks, and roadmaps that enable digital transformation. Our current technical environment: • Microsoft Azure • VMWare ESXi What you’ll do: Strategic Architecture & Governance • Define the enterprise-wide cloud architecture strategy, frameworks, and reference models. • Establish governance, best practices, and standards for cloud adoption, operations, and modernization. • Develop and maintain cloud roadmaps, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technology trends. • Guide decision-making for hybrid, multi-cloud, and on-premise integration models. Solution Leadership • Evaluate and approve high-level solution architectures for strategic cloud initiatives. • Ensure cloud designs meet enterprise security, compliance, and performance requirements. • Lead the adoption of cloud-native, microservices, and containerized solutions. • Oversee capacity planning, disaster recovery, and resilience strategies at an enterprise level. Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement • Partner with business leaders, CIO/CTO, and technology stakeholders to align cloud solutions with enterprise strategy. • Collaborate with application, security, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration. • Lead architectural reviews, ensuring solutions meet business and IT requirements. • Manage vendor relationships, participate in technology evaluations, and recommend enterprise adoption. Leadership & Mentoring • Provide thought leadership and technical guidance to architects and engineering teams. • Drive innovation by evaluating emerging cloud technologies and trends. • Mentor solution and technical architects, building capability across cloud domains. What we are looking for: • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT/Computer Science/Electronics. or equivalent diploma. • 15+ years of progressive IT experience, including 7+ years in architecture roles. • Experience in enterprise architecture and cloud strategy development. • Deep expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid/multi-cloud strategies. • Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman, FEAF). • Proven experience in designing large-scale, mission-critical cloud solutions. • Solid understanding of networking, security, identity, governance, and FinOps in cloud. • Experience with containers, orchestration (Kubernetes), DevOps, and automation frameworks. • Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills. • Ability to translate business needs into technology strategies and roadmaps. • This role involves rotational shifts, including night shifts, to provide 24/7 application support. • Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays as per shift schedule. • Ability to handle responsibilities independently during off-hours.
