The senior technical business analyst will be part of the BA community in Business Lending crew within Business Banking Technology. You will be reporting to the Business Analysis Chapter Lead in Banker Assisted Lending Crew.

Overall, in this role, you will be required to perform the following:

  • Lead business analysis activities
  • Provide estimates (order of magnitude) in Discovery or Ideation phase of an initiative
  • Ensure technology solutions are aligned with the Groups enterprise architecture platforms
  • Complete and oversee project work stream deliverables including quality control/sign off for area of accountability
  • Provide ongoing assistance to support teams for functionality released into production
  • Provide support and participate in testing activities including unit testing and system testing ensuring adequate project coverage
  • Work closely with stakeholders and change management to identify impacts to business processes because of system or application changes
  • Provides leadership and operational advice on the business analysis approach on programs/projects based on the complexity, category and GDF pathway
  • Contribute to driving continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to improve business and customer value
  • Drives the implementation, embedding and continual improvement of methodologies, frameworks, tools and processes
  • Oversee project business analysis deliverables throughout the relevant GDF phases validating alignment in business and technology strategies and ensuring quality control / sign-off for area of accountability
  • Shares industry and enterprise best practices with Business Analysts and community to drive improvements in business analysis capability and practice operating model

We’re interested in hearing from people who possess:

  • Technical business analysis experience in banking domain (at least 7 years)
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills to validate initiatives in the initial phases; including framing the problem, defining project scope and solutions to drive optimal value for the business and our customers
  • Experienced and knowledgeable in software delivery (SDLC) and Agile
  • Business Banking Domain expertise is preferred, but not mandatory
