The Role

As the Project Manager, you will lead, plan, coordinate, and deliver projects on time and within scope. This role requires strong communication skills to engage both internal and external stakeholders, alongside effective risk management to ensure project success and alignment with organizational objectives.

Key responsibilities include overseeing multiple workstreams to meet agreed deliverables, ensuring adherence to quality, environmental, and safety standards, managing schedules and deadlines.

Areas of Responsibility

  • Play a key role in establishing, defining, and executing projects
  • Assist in developing business plans aligned with strategic objectives, including sales forecasting and cost projections.
  • Define and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess project success
  • Maintain project documentation, including plans, schedules, and reports while collaborating across teams to drive project success and strategic initiatives
  • Identify key risks, issues, interdependencies, resource needs, and critical stakeholder decisions while facilitating user group workshops to support implementation and provide project updates
  • Review and analyse discrepancies between scope forecasts and actual outcomes, highlighting both positive and negative aspects of the project.

Your Profile 

As a Project Manager with over five years of experience, you will confidently lead multiple workstreams to drive the overall success of the project. You bring strong analytical and observational skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a keen eye for detail in both written and verbal communication. While experience in the equipment manufacturing and/or equipment maintenance industries is advantageous, it is not essential.

Your technical expertise includes an intermediate to advanced proficiency in computer systems, including the Microsoft 365 suite, email communications, and various project management tools. A tertiary qualification or certification in Project Management/Support is highly desirable.

In this role, your primary focus will be stakeholder management and engagement, scope control, project planning, and progress tracking of major change management initiatives. However, there will be elements of business development skills or operational management experience that could be advantageous to the success of the role.
